Robert Blatt,  President 

Mr. Robert Blatt has over 24  years experience in the document management and workflow industries. Starting his career at AT&T Bell Labs in 1979, Mr. Blatt, worked on interactive videodisc, document management and CD technology beginning with design through the implementation project phases. Since then, Mr. Blatt has participated in the analysis, design, project management and implementation of a significant number of document management and workflow-based solutions.  These include large clients such as County of Tuolumne, County of San Mateo, Northern California UFCW Trust Funds, California Contractors State License Board, California Department of Corporations, CalState University, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Southern California UFCW/Food Fund, Banamex (National Bank of Mexico), Conrail, UFCW/Drug Fund, EPCOT Center, 1984 Olympics, US Stamp and many others.

Mr. Blatt is the founder and Principal Consultant at Electronic Image Designers, Inc. which is one of the industry's leading document management and workflow consulting organizations.  Robert Blatt, was recently inducted into the AIIM Company of Fellows (#173), which is the highest and most coveted award within the Content Management Industry.  There are only a total of 175 people, world-wide, who have received this recognition since 1963. 

EID has been recognized by the industry as being one of the industry’s oldest technology specific organizations and the leading vendor neutral ECM consulting within the document imaging/management/workflow industry.  Robert Blatt is frequently asked to develop articles for magazines and to provide guidance and direction throughout the industry. 

Mr. Blatt has a law enforcement background and has participated in numerous forensic investigations over the past several years, primarily focusing on Electronic Document Forensics.  These investigations have included data and pattern analysis, data recovery from enterprise systems, and technical guidance to regulatory/enforcement counsel throughout several cases along with other technical forensic services.  Mr. Blatt is a member of the International Police Chiefs Association, the American College of Forensic Examiners and Certified in Homeland Security - Level III..

   Richard Blatt, Senior Technologist 

Mr. Richard Blatt has been involved in the document management industry since 1996.  His experience includes working closely with clients during analysis, design, planning, and implementation project phases.  He has worked on multiple projects including Northern California UFCW, California State Contractors State License Board, Department of Corporations, County of San Mateo, and the SoCal Drug Fund.  His expertise in business process analysis is complemented by his abilities with technical system design and administration.  He has received extensive training and experience in process analysis, document management design, and technical system administration.  Mr. Blatt holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Portland State University.

 Don Barbier, Senior Consultant

 

Don Barbier brings together both technical and business experience enabling organizations to fully embrace new technologies and business practices.  This is accomplished by utilizing the guiding principles of Change Management to help all levels of an organization understand how technology and process re-engineering can assist and benefit their business.  Don holds the ECMp and ECMs certifications from AIIM and is active on 2 standards committee's:  ANSI/AIIM C27 - Document Management and AIIM Implementation Guidelines.


In addition to 20+ years of working with companies large and small in very diverse segments of the market Don has also earned two Masters Degrees the first in Business Administration and the second in the Arts from the University of Southern California.   This combination of understanding technology and business issues positions Mr. Barbier to work closely with end-user organizations through all ECM project phases.

 

 

 

 

 


 

   Chandra Barrong, Senior Process Analyst

Chandra Barrong has over six years expertise developing baseline process schematics and documentation, evaluating operational processes, and performing process analysis.  This extensive business experience includes extensive time working with clients during the process of identifying issues associated with existing business processes, recommending process changes along with working closely with management teams responsible for desired and planned organizational change management and associated activities.  Ms. Barrong has strong project management, system implementation and user training experience working with a variety of local government agencies across the State of California and the Pacific Northwest. 

 


John Gibbons, Senior Consultant

Mr. John Gibbons has nearly a decade of document management, workflow, COLD/ERM, document imaging experience ranging from project management to designing and implementing document management information systems in distributed NT based client/server environments.  This experience encompasses technical project management, imaging component design and development, and complete system design and implementation.  In addition, consulting activities have included providing document imaging system analysis, project management and technical assistance and training to various customers either implementing or planning to implement document-imaging systems.  Mr. Gibbons has participated in numerous document management projects for clients including: Cal State Fullerton, Southern California UFCW, California Contractors State License Board, Enforcement and Legal Services – DOC, Northern California UFCW, SoCal Drug Fund, and several  other county and government agencies.

Mr. Gibbons specializes in project planning and implementation from the clients' perspective.  He brings nearly three decades of expertise with high-level project planning and management to Electronic Image Designers.  Mr. Gibbons has been active in Law enforcement for over 25 years, and is currently the Police Director of Lincoln Park Police Department where he is responsible for budget and planning.  He has successfully designed and participated in the implementation of numerous document management solutions, Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) programs, Records Management systems, Mobile Data systems, electronic document forensics and other technology related technical investigations for both civil and criminal cases
